Eco Battery 48V 105Ah Thru-Hole Bundle Kit (And What's Included)
If your 48V electric golf cart is ready to move on from lead-acid batteries, the Eco Battery 48V 105Ah Thru-Hole Bundle Kit gives you the battery and fitment-based parts needed for the applications offered in the dropdown.
It works with both stock and upgraded motors and controllers, but it is not a one-size-fits-all kit. Included parts change based on the cart and application selected.
The setup is built around Eco Battery’s Thru-Hole platform and matched to the cart selected above. That matters because not every cart uses the same mounting hardware, charge-port parts, display components, or CAN-related accessories.
Some carts are straightforward. Others need a more specific setup. The goal is to help you get the right combination the first time instead of piecing the system together one part at a time. If you are still comparing lithium battery options, our Lithium Knowledge Center is a good place to start.
It is also backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty with 6 years of full replacement, which is one of the biggest reasons many golf cart owners choose Eco Battery when stepping up to lithium.

If you are replacing a lead-acid setup on the right electric cart, this is a strong fit. It also works well if your cart is already running upgraded motors and controllers. Customers can also expect roughly 20–45 miles per charge, depending on cart setup, terrain, tire size, driving style, payload, and overall efficiency.
If you are planning larger electrical upgrades, you can also browse our Golf Cart Performance Upgrades or pair your lithium setup with an EB Power AC Conversion Kit.

Matched to the Cart You Select
This is a fitment-based bundle, not a universal battery kit. Included parts depend on the cart selected above, which helps reduce guesswork on brackets, charge-port parts, CAN hardware, and related support components.
Built Around Eco Battery’s 48V 105Ah Thru-Hole Platform
At the center of the package is the Eco Battery Thru-Hole battery in the 48V 105Ah class. If your electric cart is coming off lead acid, this gives you a high-capacity lithium setup built for real golf cart use.
Works With Stock and Upgraded Motors and Controllers
This lithium battery bundle works for both stock carts and upgraded electric setups, making it a practical choice whether you are doing a straightforward lithium swap or building around stronger controller and motor combinations.
Smart Battery Features You’ll Actually Use
The battery includes Bluetooth, CAN, mobile app access, and over-the-air software updates, giving you better visibility into battery status and communication capability.
Protection Features That Matter in Real Cart Use
The battery is built with LiFePO4 chemistry, prismatic cells, IP67 protection, charging freeze protection under 32F, and a powder-coated steel shell.
Strong Output for Real 48V Cart Demand
It delivers 250A max continuous discharge, 600A max discharge for 5 seconds, and 550A max discharge for 10 seconds.
Heated Battery Option
If you ride or charge your cart in colder weather, the heated battery option is worth considering.
The main purpose of the heated battery is to help allow charging in below-32°F weather. Standard lithium batteries should not be charged when battery temperature drops below freezing. Choosing the heated version gives you a better option for charging in colder conditions and makes the package a stronger fit for winter use.

This is especially helpful if your cart is stored or charged in:
- unheated garages
- sheds
- barns
- colder seasonal climates
If your cart stays in a climate-controlled space year-round, you may not need the heated option. But if there is a good chance your battery will be charged in freezing or near-freezing temperatures, it is a smart upgrade to consider.

Does not fit
If you are still sorting out which lithium battery bundle makes the most sense for your cart, the Lithium Knowledge Center is a helpful next stop.
Thru-Hole vs Skinny
The easiest way to think about it is tray shape.
The Thru-Hole bundle is generally the better choice when your cart uses the more grouped tray layout that battery style was designed around. The Skinny bundle is generally the better fit when your cart uses the longer, narrower tray layout instead.
A common example is the EZGO RXV:
-
RXV with factory plastic tray ( typically has 4 x 12v batteries)) = Thru-Hole bundle
-
RXV with factory metal tray ( typically has 6 x 8v batteries) = Skinny bundle

If your cart is listed in the fitments here, the Thru-Hole bundle is most likely the right fit. If your cart is not listed here, you will most likely need the Eco Battery 48V 105Ah Skinny Bundle instead. If you need the charger only, please check the 48V 105Ah GEN3 Eco Thru Hole Battery Individual.
Before You Order
Before ordering, verify:
- your cart appears in the dropdown fitment
- your cart is electric
- your cart is not factory lithium
- RXV tray type: plastic tray vs metal tray
- Club Car DS frame style: A-frame vs H-frame
- Yamaha / ICON year and application where relevant
- that the selected package includes the support parts you expect for your cart
- Some older Bintelli models CANNOT integrate with the CAN communication and a need A-3102. If you do not have a factory touch screen, you will need this additional part.
A few setup notes also matter:
- many fitments show the 51V to 12V DC-DC converter as optional if you do not already have one
- some ICON setups specifically note that a tech tool is needed
- if the selected package includes a CAN-enabled charger, CAN must be connected for charging to work correctly
- the battery must be powered on with the illuminated power button to accept a charge
