Lithium upgrade for my 2019 Club Car Tempo

"Easy install with the provided instructions and YouTube videos. We ordered the full conversion kit minus the 12 volt convertor (already installed on cart). The Battery was a snap with the thru hole lock down design. We drilled a hole in the dash for the voltage gauge which made for a cleaner look instead of the optional mounting bracket. The Charger was a simple install once I realized cable (A-3351-060) is not used unless installing an optional lockout module. This info should be included with the charger so as not to confuse the installer. We like the improved cart performance and we will use these guys for our future tire and suspension upgrades. Overall I give it 5 stars!"

Very nice battery, good customer service, but poor integration

"I recently purchased the Eco Battery thru hole LIFEPO4 battery upgrade kit for my 2021 Advanced EV cart. The battery and packaging were very well done, the Extreme Kartz (EK) support was good, but the integration of the kit leaves a bit to be desired. I watched all the installation videos and did hours of research before purchasing. On initial install, the battery cables were too short and I had to rotate the battery 90* to make connections. This put the battery connections too close to the charger and makes the on/off button difficult to access. I was told when ordering that a SoC meter would be included…sadly a meter was not included and is evidently not a part of the kit. EK support told me I could use a Tech Tool and reprogram my controller to use my existing gauge, which is not true according to EB tech support. The only way to get SoC is by using the EB app or purchasing a meter. TLDR: to make this kit work you will need to spend $70 on new battery cables, $80 on a new meter and $90 to rent a tech tool that may/may not work."

Complete bundle, easy install

"I have a 2019 advanced ev i40l. I ordered the thru hole 48v/105amh battery bundle. After watching install videos, the installation was straight forward and easy. I've had a 2mph increase overall, up and down hills. Battery life is great and remote wake-up button is nice as well. Other friends are looking to upgrade their carts as well after seeing install on my cart. Great customer support from Extreme kartz. Glad I chose them as my supplier."

"Ordered Eco Battery GEN3 105a 48v thru-hole bundle kit for my Yamaha Drive2 Thursday night. All items were correct, in stock and ready for immediate delivery. Received and successfully installed everything by the following Monday afternoon. 2 installation notes: 1. On a Drive2, you will probably need longer battery cables (3’ long, not included) Upgrade them to 2 ga while you’re at it. 2. If you have working lights, turn signals, brake lights or other 12v accessories, you likely do NOT need the 12v converter. You already have one and can ignore instructions to cut and reconnect under dash wires to orange 12v converter wire. ."

48V 105Ah Eco Battery

"My battery and charger arrived quickly and was relatively simple to install. Packaged very well to protect from damage. After watching a number of online video's, the install went smoothly. My cart had the OBC controller that I had to bypass which was the hardest part of the install. So far very happy. While I only gained a mile or two in speed, the card is very responsive and gets to speed much faster than with the led acid batteries."

Good but

"Bought a package deal. The battery is amazing. The remote on for the battery is nice but really can’t figure out why they didn’t make it so sou could also turn it off also , have to raise the seat to turn it off. The dash gage has all the info I need and fit the old battery meter hole perfectly. The converter and onboard charger work good also . Big drawback is you have to go online for wiring and documentation ."
