Eco Battery 48V 105Ah Thru Hole Bundle – Unboxed & Installed
The video shows what’s in the kit, then demonstrates the installation process. It’s organized with quick chapters like “What’s included” and “How to install.”

What’s in the box (as shown/mentioned)

  • 48V (51.2V) 105Ah Eco Battery “Thru-Hole” LiFePO₄ pack

  • 51V lithium charger + locking charge port/plug

  • Digital SOC (LCD/CAN) meter and harness

  • Hardware/mounting for thru-hole battery

  • (Some bundles include a 12V DC-DC converter for accessories; the video notes this can be optional depending on bundle.)

Step-by-step installation guide (based on the video + Eco Battery Quickstart)

Safety first

  • Wear eye protection and insulated gloves; use insulated tools. If you’re not trained to work with EV/lithium systems, get a pro to install.

1) Prep & document

  • Turn key OFF; if your cart has a Tow/Run switch, set to TOW.

  • Take photos of existing batteries, cables, and accessory wiring for reference.

  • Label the main positive/negative pack cables and any 12V accessory leads.

2) Remove the old pack

  • Remove hold-downs, maintenance systems, and all interconnect cables.

  • Lift out the old batteries and clean the tray. (Team lift—these are heavy.)

3) Mount the Eco Battery

  • Make sure the Eco Battery is off (press the power button until green light comes on, then press again to turn off).

  • Set the 48V 105Ah thru-hole battery in place and secure it using the provided thru-hole hardware for your cart model.

4) Mount the charger

  • Mount the 51V charger in a spot protected from direct water spray with ≥6 in of open space for the fan.

  • Install the locking charge port in the body panel location that suits your cart and route the charger lead to it.

5) (If included) Install the 12V DC-DC converter

  • Mount the converter (40–90V input → 12V output).

  • Wire per diagram: red = 12V+, black = 12V− to your 12V fuse block; connect the orange “enable” to a switched B+ (key-on) or to battery + for constant 12V.

6) Make the main battery connections

  • Stack ring terminals largest-draw first (controller), then lower-draw (charger, converter) on the battery studs.

  • Connect all POSITIVE cables to the POSITIVE terminal and all NEGATIVE cables to the NEGATIVE terminal.

  • Double-check polarity before tightening to manufacturer torque spec.

7) Install and connect the LCD/CAN SOC meter

  • Pick a location with enough depth behind the panel; cut a 2-1/16 in (52 mm) hole (or use a bracket).

  • Plug the LCD harness into the battery (align the tab), route to the meter, then connect both white plugs to the back.

  • If your charger uses CAN, plug its CAN lead into one of the meter’s CAN pigtails.

8) Final checks & power-on

  • Verify every connection (no loose lugs, correct polarity, secure mounts).

  • Power on the battery (press and release the button). Steady green = on; no green = error—contact your dealer/Eco Battery.

9) First charge & calibration

  • Fully charge the battery before extended driving. The LCD meter self-calibrates to 100% after the first full charge.

  • The power button must be on to charge. For storage >14 days, turn the battery off and unplug AC from the charger.

10) Test

  • Key to RUN/ON; confirm the cart drives and 12V accessories operate. If all good, button up the cart and enjoy.

Tools & tips

  • Tools: basic socket set, insulated nut driver, torque wrench, crimpers/heat-shrink, 2-1/16" hole saw.

  • Pro tips: take clear photos before removal; keep accessory grounds tidy on a fused 12V block; never pressure-wash the battery; charge daily for longest life. Shopify
