Yamaha Drive2 Parts & Accessories

The Drive2 is Yamaha's current personal-cart platform — launched 2017, single-headlight body, available in PTV (2-pass), Concierge 4-pass, and Concierge 6-pass. Powertrains are 48V AC electric or QuieTech EFI gas. If your Yamaha is a G29 (the “Drive” generation, 2007-2016), you're on the previous platform — different parts; see Yamaha Drive (G29) parts instead.

Three things to know before you order:

Drive2 ≠ G29. Most “Yamaha Drive” parts in the aftermarket are spec'd for G29 unless the SKU says “Drive2.” Body kits, lift kits, light kits, and most accessories are platform-specific. Read the fitment line on every SKU.

EFI vs non-EFI gas. The QuieTech EFI gas Drive2 uses different belts, fuel system, ignition, and engine parts than non-EFI gas variants. Check the EFI / non-EFI designation on each gas-part SKU. AC electric parts apply to all electric Drive2 trims.

PTV vs Concierge stretch. Rear-seat kits, enclosures, and body extensions differ between the 2-pass PTV, 4-pass Concierge, and 6-pass Concierge. Stretches use a longer rear deck; standard 2-pass rear-seat kits don't fit.

For controllers, AC conversions, and performance upgrades on the electric Drive2, what fits depends on the controller in the cart — the factory Yamaha AC unit or a Navitas / Alltrax conversion — so match the controller, not the year. New to the electric side? AC motors explained and our lithium conversion guide are good starting points. Use the side-rail filters (Make, Model, Cart Type, Application), or call 678-331-7404 with the Drive2 trim, powertrain, and controller for a specific recommendation.

FAQs for Yamaha Drive2 Parts & Accessories

Drive2 vs G29 (Drive) — different parts?+

Yes, mostly. The G29 ran 2007-2016 — older body, twin headlights, different mounting points for body kits and lights. The Drive2 launched 2017 with a new single-headlight body and frame. Some shared parts: brakes, some suspension, some lights. Body kits, hoods, lift kits, light kits, dashboards, rear seats are all platform-specific. The single (Drive2) vs twin (G29) headlight is the fastest visual tell, and the build/serial plate confirms the model year. When in doubt, look for “Drive2” in the SKU title, not just “Drive.”

EFI vs non-EFI gas — does it matter for my part?+

For engine, fuel system, ignition, and belts — yes. The QuieTech EFI Drive2 uses electronic fuel injection with different fuel pumps, regulators, throttle bodies, belts, and sensors than the non-EFI carbureted variants. Verify EFI vs non-EFI on the SKU for any gas-engine part. For body, suspension, lighting, and most accessories, the split doesn't matter.

When did the Drive2 launch?+

2017. Yamaha replaced the G29 (Drive) with the Drive2 for the 2017 model year, and it's been in continuous production since — most Drive2 on the road are 2017-2025+. There have been minor body and trim revisions (verify specific year on body/light fitment), but the chassis and powertrain platforms have stayed consistent.

AC vs gas — different controllers?+

Completely different systems. AC electric Drive2 uses an AC controller (Yamaha's factory unit or a Navitas / Alltrax AC1 conversion). Gas Drive2 has no controller — it has an ignition system and an EFI ECU. To upgrade the electric Drive2, look at Yamaha controllers and Yamaha AC conversion kits. For gas Drive2 performance, look at fuel system and exhaust, not controllers.

PTV vs Concierge — different fitment?+

Body, brakes, and most front-half parts are shared. Rear-seat kits, enclosures, rear body extensions, and roof tops differ — the Concierge has a longer rear deck (4-pass) or much longer rear deck (6-pass) than the standard 2-pass PTV. Ordering a rear-seat kit or any rear-half body part? Confirm the SKU is spec'd for PTV vs Concierge 4-pass vs Concierge 6-pass.
