FAQs for Bumpers

Will a bumper fit my make, model, and year?+

Bumpers are platform- and position-specific, so year matters. Our bumper fitment spans Club Car Precedent (2004+) and DS, EZGO TXT (1995+) and RXV (2008+), and Yamaha G14–G22 and Drive/G29 (2007+). A "Rear Long TXT 96–99" bumper, for example, won't fit a newer TXT, so match the exact model and year rather than just the brand. If your cart has been refurbished or re-bodied, confirm from the serial/spec plate, not the look of the body.

How do I tell whether I need a front or a rear bumper?+

Order by the position you're replacing — front and rear bumpers are different parts and usually different SKUs. Check which one is cracked, missing, or bent, and note that some carts also have distinct short vs. long rear bumpers for the same platform. If you're dressing up the whole cart, front and rear are sold separately, so you'll add both.

What are these bumpers made of — do you have metal ones?+

Most of this collection is OEM-style replacement bumpers, rocker panels, and body trim — molded plastic or rubber pieces that restore a clean factory look and bolt back into the original mounting points. We do also carry a smaller number of heavier-duty metal front bumpers — for example stainless-steel and armor-style bumpers, some winch-ready — for utility or off-road builds. Material varies by product, so check the listing, and always match the bumper to your cart's model and the position (front or rear) you're replacing.

Are bumpers hard to install, and what if I'm not sure which one I need?+

Most OEM-style bumpers are a bolt-on job using existing mounting points, though a few need minor drilling per the vendor sheet. The bigger risk is ordering the wrong platform/position, not the wrench work. If you're unsure of your model, year, or whether you need front or rear, call us at 678-331-7404 and we'll confirm the exact bumper before you order.

How is this different from the Brush Guards collection?+

Bumpers are the front and rear pieces that replace or restore your cart's OEM-style bumper. Brush guards are the tubular front guards that mount to the cowl/front body for a more aggressive, protective look. There's also a combined Brush Guards, Bumpers & Trim collection if you want to browse both at once — but this collection is the bumper-specific set, front and rear. Pick bumpers to replace a damaged OEM bumper; pick a brush guard to add front protection and style.
