My experience on installing the
"My experience on installing the Navitas system on my 98 Club Car DS Regen II. 1. If it is an old cart which it usually is, replace the spring bushings and buy or make some longer spring shackles, before you install the new motor. If using longer shackles buy or make longer shock mount extension. And buy the one inch front block to raise the front. Why? It will give you the clearance for the new motor with the proper stance, and you might be able to go to a 20” tire depending on the rim and tire choice. 2. While the differential, springs, and motor is out trim the shock mount. It is very tight clearance and gives a little more safety clearance. While troubleshooting our issue I got to really look at this. My old motor was rubbing the mount. And the Navitas looked like it was going to do the same thing. 3. Remove the OBC only if you are going to the LiPo Battery way. GO LiPo. It gives more room and looks better. 4. Ideally. It would be nice to have an MCOR4 with adapter harness available for someone who would want to swap out the V-glide while doing the conversion. I think it would be more beneficial in the long run. I don’t know if there is an adapter for my harness? I still have the V-glide. I might want to do this at a later date if I have problems with the V-glide. 5. It would be cool if the controller module interface was a touch screen that also doubles as a speedometer as an option for small extra price instead of having to have to buy one for $900 to $1000 from a retailer. If someone would like to have it."
