My experience with bedrock was amazing
"My experience with bedrock was amazing! Not only was the install far easier than I expected, especially for someone with limited mechanical knowledge, but the support that they provided throughout was amazing. I had one part that needed to be replaced and they immediately sent a replacement overnight. They also took the time on the phone to go over all of my work to make sure that everything was done correctly, even though they didn't need to. They really went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend not only the product but their support services as well. My cart is working better than it ever did with more power than ever thanks to the new battery upgrade. I couldn't be happier."

A Heart Transplant for the Old Cart
"I have a 2005 EZGO TXT Series cart which I have owned for 18 years. My only significant upgrade is a conversion done years ago, replacing the mechanical Forward-Reverse switch with an electrical contactor (highly recommended). I also added a flip rear seat that is in the tray position 99.999% of the time so I can carry tools, etc. I have seen lots of deep cycle lead acid batteries come and go. If it was worth hating an inanimate object I would hate them -- 360 pounds of necessary nuisance. The current six have been failing for months, requiring recharging every 2 or 3 days despite very limited driving. I've been reading and watching videos about lithium batteries for a long time and, after careful consideration of several brands, decided on a Bedrock 38.4 volt 105 Ah lithium battery from Extreme Kartz. I ordered during the Labor Day sale and, although it shipped the next day, it was 9 days before it arrived after getting lost by Fedex in Georgia. Thankfully, it was very well packaged and arrived intact and undamaged despite visible damage to the outside of the wooden shipping crate. A second box containing the rest of the installation parts took just 2 days to arrive via UPS. Although I can't say the installation was drop-in due to how my cart's stock battery rack was configured, the whole process was easy enough. It helped that a nice new sharp drillbit was included for drilling a couple of holes in the battery rack that allowed bolting down the battery securely and my angle grinder with cutoff wheel took care of a protruding piece of the rack. Since I work all day I mostly worked on the installation for a couple of hours each weeknight and got it done in a few days. I needed support one time and got a quick and friendly response from their tech, Matt. Trading 360 pounds of lead acid batteries for a single 80 pound battery has had an amazing effect on my cart. I read previously that going lithium without upgrading the controller and motor would add little if any speed. Well, minus the 300-pound difference my cart feels like it is zooming! I can only guess (without a speedometer) that top speed has doubled thanks to the huge weight reduction. I love the performance of this battery. I can't speak to longevity but it has a substantial 10-year warranty so I'm not concerned. I can wholeheartedly recommend Bedrock Lithium Batteries."

They corrected a shipping mistake made on my end. The shipping process was fast and detailed. The packaging was the best I've seen. Everything was in separate boxes contained in one big box, all components were wrapped with foam. The instructions were detailed and in color. The battery was very impressive, being shipped in its own little crate. Everything was so well put together and the instructor is out so well that I never had to call back with questions. 36V Bedrock for EZ-GO TXT
"I chose Bedrock for its combination of build quality, warranty, and affordability. The installation kit was perfect for my EZ-GO TXT 36 volt cart and included everything necessary for a clean install. Install only took a few hours with simple tools. There was a noticeable improvement in acceleration and mild top speed increase with the new Bedrock Battery, especially on long grades/hills. Overall very satisfied."

Custom motor and fit
"From 3 batteries spread across the plane to 1 battery in the back. Half the weight if not less. From 10 mph max to 18mph. Distance before 6 miles max with little to no hills. I did 10 miles with big hills down to 80% battery. I use to have to exit the plane and walk it up the hills did the same hill with a steady speed of 7 mph."

Why did I wait so long?
"My 6 year old lead acid batteries finally bit the dust. I was tired of the acid staining on my garage floor and driveway. Also, keeping the old batteries filled with water was a pain. This was the perfect solution. The directions were very straight forward. I also cut out my old corroded carbon steel battery tray and installed a new aluminum one before putting in the new Lithium battery and charger. I had to modify the new aluminum tray slightly so the new Bedrock battery would fit in the tray. It all bolted in awesome. All the fasteners were provided. Very clean installation. Top end speed is the same, but the acceleration is so much better. A net weight reduction of approximately 290 lbs. I would definitely recommend this kit. 2002 EZGO TXT (36 volt)"
