Speed results are application-dependent and vary based on the cart, motor, battery setup, gearing, tire size, weight, and modifications.

Model Selection Guide

• 440AMP Controller Kit – Ideal for moderate performance upgrades, smoother rides, improved torque, and better drivability.

• 600AMP Controller Kit – Maximum power and torque for extreme terrain, oversized tire applications, and more demanding setups.

*Note: Speed increases depend on your golf cart model, its motor, its weight, whether it is a 2-seater or 4-seater, and level of modification, including tires, lift kit, gearing, voltage, battery setup, and motor condition. On Series carts, the controller primarily improves torque and drivability; a controller alone may not increase top speed.

Pre-Installation Requirements

• Vehicle must match the selected Club Car DS application.
• Heavy-duty solenoid required for 600a; recommended for 440a.
• Battery requirements:
  • Lithium:
    • 440AMP controller requires 400AMP discharge capability
    • 600AMP controller requires 500–600AMP discharge capability
  • Lead-acid: 4-gauge or thicker battery cables required
• If you select this variant: DS Series, a 3-Amp diode is strongly recommended to protect the controller during installation. Then, if you upgrade to the Curtis Heavy Duty solenoid above, you will likely also need this 3a Diode: Diode 3 Amp with Spade Terminals
